I’m 14 years old and i think i got drunk on a digestive aid. You see, i never knew there was alcohol in it and when i was younger and i had a stomachache my mom always gave me some, but i know where my parents keep it. Today i was home alone and i had a bad stomachache so i thought i would give myself some, and i wasnt sure how much to use so i tried to look on the package but i didnt find anything so i poured myself like a quarter full of my mug and drank it. It tasted like s*** and not at all like i remembered, it was way more bitter and burned my throat when i swallowed it, but i choked it down anyway. A while later my stomach felt better but my head started feeling kind of foggy and dizzy, and at first i didnt think much about it but after a while it got difficult for me to concentrate on stuff and my eyes hurt, i just felt really tired, and i figured maybe i did something wrong or took the wrong dosage of it and i got really scared that i might be poisoned bc there are some weird herbs and i didnt know if i exceeded lethal dosage or something so i looked at the ingredients and it said 38% alcohol. I started to be kind of scared bc i heard from my mom that beer has like 5% alcohol content and if you have too much of it you can poison your liver or something, it’s been a few hours though and i dont feel really drunk or as bad as i did before, though im still scared i might have hurt my liver, and im pretty sure i was and still am a little drunk based on what i learned about alcohol and stuff in school or through media and stuff, though even if i consumed a lot of alcohol i still wasnt too drunk, i was still in the right state of mind and everything, no hallucinations or delusions or stuff, just fatigue and brain fog. I think thats kind of funny, but im still not entirely sure what happened. If anyone could provide some insight maybe? Do you guys think ill be alright? Im not really sure how i should feel about this, i guess its pretty funny but i still feel guilty for not telling my parents ito r checking with them.
