I wrestled for a Wyoming professional wrestling promotion for six years. Once I wrestled a trained Gorilla(yes, an actual gorilla). In retrospect it was my most physically brutal encounter in sports entertainment. i bounced off the ropes and hit the gorilla with a shoulder tackle…..NOTHING. The gorilla bounced off the ropes and hit me with a shoulder tackle…..BOOM! I nearly broke my neck flipping backwards. The raw power was indescribable. The gorilla was strong beyond comprehension. It effortlessly threw me out of the ring and I landed in the crowd of fans. The fans threw me back into the ring as they taunted me by calling me a “phony”. “get up you phony!”, they chanted. I find it disgusting how some people think wrestling is fake. Anyway, the gorilla finished me with a flying head b***. One two three. Trust me. Pro Wrestling is more real than you think
