I’m in trouble with my boss. I really don’t know what happened. I was delivering a pizza about 5 minutes away. So 5 minutes to get there, maybe 3 at the door making the delivery and 5 minutes back. That’s no more than 15 minutes.

When I got back to the store my angry boss demanded to know where I was. What took so long? He showed me the time on the clock and more than an hour had passed since I left to make the delivery. Wow. All I remember is making the delivery and then pulling into the parking lot in front of the store.

I have no idea what happened during that missing hour. My boss thinks I’m lying. Maybe I shouldn’t have told him the truth. Maybe I should made up some story.
What happened? This ever happen to anyone else?

I love the feeling of being scared. Being scared and being ashamed are different. The feeling is different and omg being horrified that is the s***. Knowing what’s going to happen and not being able to do anything about it that is the total bomb. Expecially when it’s a defamation or degration in front of peers or those younger witnessing as you cower your way through it knowing they’re going to be staring at you.
