I have a parking spot in the company garage that is easy to back into if my coworker’s car isn’t there yet because I can pull through his spot and back into mine. So I try to be five or ten minutes early to park my car.

I pulled in early one morning and his spot was empty so I went through his spot and put my car in reverse. I glanced at the backup camera to see that I was about to crash into my coworker’s car. Astonished, I hit the brakes just in time. I got out of my car to complain to him, but his car was empty, and the windsheild was dry. It was snowing outside and you could see my wet tire tracks under his car, leading to my car.

I went in the office to learn that he had come in two hours early to work on a special project. He had been there for two hours before I arrived. How did his car magically appear only after I was backing up?
