When I was fourteen I was sold into marriage to a man much older. He had two wives then, both much older, so I was the very young wife in the household. I was finished raised by my older wives and unlike them they insisted on educating me. I have a degree in Architecture. I had my three children as was expected, they are now in their teen years, and we have moved to Manchester. Although multiple wives are not allowed here, no one brings it up either. There are many families with multiple wives now. I should say that I am being honest and I have never felt anything inconsistent with my place as the third wife in the household. All women I know have similar situations, and many wives makes for a larger household, my husband has fourteen children.
