As a teenager I thought people were unimaginative for aiming to buy a house. ‘why don’t they strive buy a 100 roomed mansion like me?’ how innocent and out of touch with reality I was… Many people I know in my city, including me could barely rent a tiny apartment on their own and have money left over for food, never mind bills. What a fu£cking world. You were aiming too high kid, aim low, aim low. Your old idea of low is actually high in this world.
