I too have thought about 2005 on. What if I’d chased her harder, and not married my current wife? I dunno if I’d be happier but I would’ve felt more alive. Maybe I would’ve pushed harder in my career or taken more risks. You can’t undo the past, just prepare for the future. But the world is probably going to end any year now, so I guess I can look back and say I had some fun and drank some beers.
