I’ll miss my young chicks.

I saw two of my regulars today for the first time in close to a week. I saw “my dear” girl, who said “hi my dear” to me coming up the stairs for a change I wasn’t wearing my beanie, she saw my buzz cut and said “nice haircut” I said “thanks…it’s a lazy haircut” she goes it’s still a nice haircut, banter which clearly pissed Mister “if you really new this guy, you wouldn’t be day ng my dear…” of. I made sure to pretty much iynore him except for a signature I needed and wished her a nice day as I left. She rarely calls me honey too. He hates that. It’s effortless though man. That comes from being an attractive man. Which is natural. I’m not trying.

And I saw coffee girl twice today. Once in the drive thru and I also went in there and watched another older guy probably slightly older than me banter with her and have her laughing and smiling, to which I lostened smiled and leaned in the rail waiting for my turn. He finished ordering and as he moved over he glanced back at me as if he was doing something wrong. No man. I’m not your wife and she’s an attractive young woman, maybe older than I thought, possibly 25 and I don’t feel threatened because there’s an energy between her and me. I ordered then watched her and her co-worker talk about sweetener. Why do we even have sweetener? Maybe buddy ordered sweetener? Coworker said “nah, I stick with sugar”, clearly I do too. I chimed in With “yeah and it tastes much better too…”
