That could have been him acting as if it’s another rooster, me. in the henhouse, not that I ask to be treated sweetly, he could even know or knows someone a woman I knew and had things with from 20 years ago, who we both mutually knew. He might be around her age, went to school with maybe he knows people who know. It’s a sure thing that he did definitely talk to her, he did work at a place owned by someone who knew her family for sure, absolutely, well, no doubt. Not that he ever had something romantic with her, an acquaintance. He could be a covert operator. Under the radar. Low key, not of importance, just I don’t like him or her knowing what I’m up to in any way. He’s one of those guys who probably has no clue, and what he hears is definitely not completely accurate. It’s second hand, one sided, but he is like other dudes who are baffled by me in the way, the way I get treated by women and they act on their being miffed. They may made the wrong choices in life, they’re just nott satisfied and here I am not even caring, just moving along not even really thinking about it, it’s my name, it’s normal, it so normal, it’s currently in one year out the other, it happens every day, I’m not even thinking about it, but he hears it, from a distance another room and he brings light to it. He can’t believe it. I’m a scum bag. He’s gotta check “is that who I think that is ?!?” No denying that. I’m not even trying. It’s you. You shoulda at least learned what Rock and Roll is early, and have the good enough taste to adopt the passion and attitude to know what’s good, and you can do it too. You took the roll people expect you to see, traditionally, that’s the way it is in movies? They’re basically doing it like Rocky, except for the becoming a millionaire boxer. You get married young, pop out some kids, tied to the same old ball and chain that is tired old and not very fun but alright. You wear a camouflage baseball cap, go hunting, drive a cab, drink beer, get a divorce, contemplate life, what the f***? You look and be like where you’re from. Which is not bad, but not good depending on how you’re playing it. Go do some ice fishing.

Not that it’s bad, but you could be cooler. More attractive. It’s a choice. Less hillbilly.
