Justin is only half aware of himself and the consequences of his actions, and of those he keeps himself around. His frame of reference is closed off like a long hallway that no one can can get into. He will walk through life on that straight hallway only peeking through the windows that he likes, but in the end, he’ll stay in that closed off narrow hallway people make sure he stays in. He finds comfort in it, no matter how boxed in and bored he might feel. He can go through his life being happy with that little comfort of the closed off hallway and the people who hold him there. That is all there is for Justin. Long straight narrow hallways broke up by mini episodes where he could no longer stay sane, so he allows himself to be insane but just for a moment, and then it’s back to the long boring hallway.
