I think all boys should be fully circumcised by the time they are 10 years old. A lot of people over think when deciding whether to have their sons cut or not, and get side tracked off on to debates about rights and philosophical questions that can never be fully resolved. Circumcision has many, many, practical benefits for the child and for the parents. It’s cleaner, reduces infections, and circumcised boys don’t get BXO, a really nasty condition, that can affect the uncut. These are among many others. There’s nothing better for any boy than a good tight circumcision. It can be performed at any age. IMO infancy is best, “tweens,” 10-12, before puberty is second best, teens third best.
