For the sake of those with learning struggles, We should come together and agree on one universal pronoun that works for everyone. a few years back it seemed like They/Them was going to be accepted as such, however, recently I have run into some enbies that make a big gripe over the they/them label. as someone who has a hard time unlearning things and replacing it with a new thing, it took me a bit to stop just assuming pronouns and start using They/Them when I don’t know the person and believe me I was actively trying. Yes! We are allowed to have our preferred pronouns, and once someone knows you they can work towards it, but snapping at someone when they don’t know you, barely met you, or whatever is getting old. a polite correction is fine but I shouldn’t feel like I am walking on eggshells in the LGBT+ community, it used to be a place I felt comfortable where people didn’t judge me but now I feel like I will be judged for such trivial things, and we shouldn’t be fighting against ourselves we should be uniting against those who are actually the problem, the kinds of people who won’t even try to get it right in the end.. anyways love you all.
