Okay, so I am 14. At 13 I started dating this boy and at first it wasn’t really well. I really liked him, we got along, and were always talking. He was my favorite person and everything was pretty much perfect, my parents didn’t favorite him or anything because he made fun of my little sisters and was kind of mean at times, but other than that it was great. Eventually I had to move, and because I’m under 16, I can’t drive to go see him or anything. So for that first couple months I got to be picked up and see him every once in awhile. It was great, but one night, we ended up talking about “sneaking out” to go see each other. And if we are being completely realistic, it wouldn’t have happened. It was going to be a 2 mile walk, in the dark, 9 degree weather, and in a bad city. He also has Covid.. so I definitely wasn’t going to do it. We still talked about it the next morning and me being stupid, I told my friend about it, forgetting that she had parental controls on her phone. Her mom saw the texts, told my mom, and my phone was taken for 2 months. In that two months, we couldn’t talk at all, but I got my friends phone one day and broke up with him. I ended up talking to this boy in my school for the next month, but when I got my phone back, I dropped the other guy and got back with my ex. We dated for 4 months and then I broke up with him because our relationship turned really toxic and he was just mean to me all the time. There was also another guy I had been talking to for about 2 weeks. So after the breakup, I was single for about one week, then went back to my ex. But here’s the catch.. all of my family don’t know that we broke up at all, but my friends still think I’m single. I made it this way so that I can still talk to that other guy at school and no one thinks I’m a cheater, but at home, they all think I’m still in that relationship. I do feel a bit guilty about it, but not much. My boyfriend is sweet and he’s trying to do better so he can keep me, and the other guy I’m talking to, we are just friends. So it’s not like I’m actually cheating, but I am lying to a lot of people. But you know what, my grandma always told me to wait for a serious relationship until the age of 30. And until then, be a w**** and play all the guys for the fun of it. So that’s what I plan on doing 😻 Thank you, if you read this far.
