You can’t just say that “just be friends” and then do it. Trust me. I know. I am not one of those guys that pushes for things, I am not after just s**, I am not a fan me track mind I won’t even have s** with a woman I do not like completely and also I know when to back off. I am not clingy, I don’t come off as needy I am not. I let people breathe.

From my perspective, as a straight man, part of the evolution of liking a woman, is eventually wanting to be physical. loving, touching, s**. Add to it if she is also physically beautiful to me… Not saying I’ll force it or go where she doesn’t want to but it goes back to what I’m saying. Then I’m hurt. Because I want more but it’s not happening, so I need to call it off, clearly I like her, and being close in anyway without things is painful so in conclusion, it’s unhealthy. In most cases. I hate to say it, and don’t know how to word it, but as a straight man, a reasonably attractive, together straight man who people generally, if I befriend a woman because I like her for more than one reason, I don’t mean at work where you are forced to be around certain demographics of people and eventually coming to liking them as people despite of regardless of everything maybe because you are together with a common goal. Yeah, I have known a few woman lately, some I started out not liking much because they would read me wrong and think that everything I was feeling, had to do with them, it was their fault, I am going to be PISSED at her, when the issues I had that put me in a mood had been thing to do with her. And she had purple hair, weird colors, she was not my type of person and I was aggravated that she was attributing my mood to being because of her. Which made me out to be a bad guy. But to her credit, she changed. No more immature colored hair. Her personality changed too and you know what? I’ve come to like her. Not that way, she is married anyway, but I mean as a person. Not romantically. She is still not my type, and the thing is I wouldn’t do that outside of work. If we had met any other way, it would not have stuck. But I like her as a work friend. Competent and I like that she changed herself for the better when it comes to me. I was actually worried that she was going to drive me out of that place, it was that bad. I was praying she would go back to where she came from.

Wimps maybe, homosexuals maybe, but not regular thinking straight people.
