Absolutely. I am likely not the person you are talking to but get used to that in life. That is what happens most of the time. The only ones who get by still together for life are loyal faithful honest people. Friendships and romantic. That is the only type of relationship that have the potential to last forever. Introduce negative s*** like that, mistrust, people feel like the other can’t be trusted, it might survive short term, but eventually someone will make a break and that’s it for that. People change too. Tastes. The people I would have hung out with in my teens would not be who I would today and yeah, I have crossed the paths of people from my past, I still do often and nobody says anything. It’s clear we both know who each other are, neither of us says anything. Definitely the norm, and not many people stick out as completely reliable and loyal. Where you know they got you. I think there’s literally only 1 who is tied to 2 or 3 others, who clearly knew who I was, I knew who she was, and we still did not communicate with words I was more looks and expressions. Related to WAY BACK too. Like almost as early as it gets. Second earliest. Way back. What are we now, strangers. I even actually pretended not to know a person who knew me by name recently. I made her way her name even though I knew. Do we know each other? Who? No, really, I don’t know?
Technically, with the other one even though we both knew who each there was we remained stranger. Both of us might even be thinking it’s nice to see you, but let’s leave it at this. We didn’t break the boundaries like with the one who called me by name. I prefered to remain a stranger. Sorry, I have a bad case of amnesia from the hit to my cranium. I recently got a labotomy.
