If you just understand that everything I do is in the pursuit of maximizing pleasure and minimizing pain, Everything I’ve ever done makes a whole lot more sense. I’d never tell people thats how I operate. I didn’t choose to be like this. I was born like this. But people hate that, so I have to give them some illusion of depth of character to work with.
