Delusion is the final comfort of the doomed. Because sometimes it’s hard to admit that you wasted your life waiting for it to start. Instead you age regress to the age of 15 and keep playing the same video games and going to the same websites you did 16 years ago, hoping that maybe you won’t feel so dead inside, but the truth is that past you’re trying to take comfort in, you can’t go back.
