I guess what I’m saying is yeah, it is good to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone when it comes to certain things in life. Discipline is an excellent trait to build and is beneficial in many ways. I have done many things having to do with work that were stepping out of my comfort zone, fearing my life at times, s*** that was really challenging, hard on the head and as a result I have built a bit of a reputation for being really good and reliable at what I do. As a result I make a pretty decent living for someone who is uneducated.

But stepping out of your comfort zone in other ways, allowing known, proven, toxic individuals into your life is foolish and detrimental to anyone’s mental well being. It’s counter productive. Toxic about sums it up. I have a few toxic people from my past who are locked out and definitely not getting back in. These are the type of people who think they know me, try to tell me what I am, what I need, what I want, and will covertly sabotage my better interests, I next themselves into things they were not introduced into and would. It have ever been introduced into. That’s a toxic individual.

To allow someone like that in, is definitely not a beneficial way to “step out of your comfort zone”. It’s the opposite of beneficial.
