Im a socialist-anarchist and an amateur historian. Automation is decreasing the need for human labor, while simultaneously, the human population is swelling and people are demanding bigger pieces of pie all over the world. The rich and powerful won’t need us anymore soon. Now answer me this, which one of the following two scenarios is more likely:

A)Universal basic income will be provided since people dont “Have” to work anymore. There’s no need for human labor anymore afterall. Our overlords will willingly take care of everyone and stop trying to hoard all the wealth and power at the tops.

B) A social revolution will take place, the people will rise up and redistribute the wealth, production will slow down, profits will no longer be the prime motivator of business, rather we make what we need and nothing more so that our civilisations can be sustained for thousands of years without destroying the planet by turning it into venus.
B)Massive wars will take place that take out at least 40% of the global population. The only jobs left will be service jobs that are akin to slavery. That, or you can be homeless, and then arrested because vagrancy is a crime, and forced to provide free labor in a for-profit prison as a legal slave. In 300 years, this planet will be uninhabitable by humans because of climate change, and 90% of life on earth that existed when you were born will be extinct. The greatest extinction event in Earth’s history will be triggered by Human Greed and Corruption.

This isnt a republican or a democrat thing. That’s the point you idiot. All this tribalism is a calculated misdirection. The bus is about to hit the wall. World war 3 wasnt a matter of if, it was always a matter of when.
