My mother is a Type 2 Diabetic, on Jan 7 she tested positive for CoVid. I got her through the worst part of the coronavirus, for two weeks she was running a fever, disoriented, weak, sweaty. When the fever would not break the first week I made a telehealth appointment and got a: Z-pak, Ivermectin. She would sleep all day on top of giving her Vitamins: D3, Zinc, Elderberry, Oregano, Selenium. Her fever broke finally and I made a telehealth appointment. The Doctor because her oxygen dropped from 96 to 87 overnight wanted her in the ER asap. So I took her to one hospital, but they wanted to process her through triage, admit her for hospitalization and she did not want to stay. So in her weakened state we left and I brought her to a Hospital clinic and the Doc said, ” Her oxygen meter is wrong. It is at 97 (a point up) and you look great compared to the other 800 CoVid patients I have treated. He just told her CoVid19 was a 3 week pneumonia and she was in 1 week and a half and had a week to go. Gave her some steroids, and inhaler and we are good to go. He did not know I tested positive for CoVid19 as well, but who takes care of the care taker? Just grateful my mom is on the mend.
