I could reach out to you. I could ask if you want to get back together. But, it’s time to let go of the past.

I am so grateful for the time we shared. You are such a lovely and adorable person. I am so lucky to have met you and been with you. I do regret breaking up, but it’s all in the past. It’s time to move forward.

I’m coming back to the city that dreams (and nightmares) are made of, and if I stay, great. If I decide ultimately to leave again, no harm done.

I’m still not ready to make a long-term commitment to anyone or anything yet, and I love that about myself right now!
