When I was 15 I had the SERIOUS hots for a girl at my school, the year prior my parents had put me on anti depressants that didn’t really work so I had stopped taking them over the summer, and when school began that fall I experienced what I could only describe at side effects/withdrawl symptoms and became majorly depressed up until my mid 20’s when I finally snapped out of it. The previously mentioned girl had built me up with flirting only to ultimately shoot me down, I shouldn’t have taken it as personally as I did, but it pretty much changed my entire approach with women from there on out and I have always waited for them to make the first move since. In my early 20’s she had tried to start f****** with my head again, and I almost fell for it for maybe a month until I realized she was merely trying to keep tabs on a friend of hers who was doing heroin with a friend of mine. We’re both in our early 40’s now, I haven’t seen her since my early 20’s, I know she was married and had kids, but her husband died because I remember seeing “R.I.P. I’ll love you forever” posts on facebook. Interestingly though while her husband was still alive she used to confide in another friend of mine about how abusive and horrible he was to her. Whether that’s true or not who the hell knows, but I’d be willing to believe it isn’t, and if it was wouldn’t she be happy that he is no longer alive and unable to treat her that way? I’ve pretty much just settled on the fact that this broad is crazy, always was, and I really wish I hadn’t let her rejection affect me at such a young age, where it actually changed me and my entire dating approach. I can’t even begin to imagine how many opportunities I must’ve missed because I wouldn’t make the first move. To my knowledge that broad is single and will most likely remain so, with all her children to boot, and honestly I think that’s what she deserves. Spent your whole life f****** with people’s heads and now you will die alone. I am married to a wonderful woman who treats me amazingly and my life is pretty damn good despite the usual annoyances one would expect. Laughing at you forever JV……
