Me: I understand your pain, however, how you live your life and how honest you are in it, to yourself and those around you is all that really matters – what others do, really has nothing to do with you and you should not allow yourself to be affected by their dishonesty, in the relationships they have with other people, nor should you accept it in yours.
It is much easier to put yourself in the 3rd party, where you can see, but not be involved and not allow whatever they are doing, to affect you personally – let me put that another way, it keeps your mind much safer.
It is the way that nurses deal with the people who they see ill and dying around them, they do whatever they can professionally, but they don’t let what they see around them, affect them in any way, because it is beyond their pay grade.
