Why do a lot of Chinese people (not all) eat so many things that have given us diseases? Can’t China put a ban on eating rats, cats, bats, dogs, frogs, snakes and god knows what steaks, spiders and making their eating list wider. What the fuck. I am East Asian and these Chinese people are giving us East Asians in general, a bad name.

If Chinese eat bats, including for medicine, then that is probably why we now have the Coronovirus which is supposed to have originated from bats, according to the update I read recently.
i am east asian as well. exotic meat has been around since medieval times, in some cultures they are seen as delicacies and are almost impossible to let go of. the french eat escargots, ppl serve foie gras as a top dish where they cruelly force feed ducks and geese until their livers are fat enough to be consumed. i don’t see many people complaining about these? if you are east asian, instead of feeling ashamed then you should help to set things straight on western people who don’t accept you if you don’t eat like them, dress like them, talk like them or in general just aren’t like them. because believe it or not, chinese world conservationists have indeed banned certain exotic meats for years. many meats are made illegal by the chinese government, but poachers and the black markets find their ways to sell them. and you can’t really stop the buyers. if you are east asian, please learn more about the going ons in the region of east asia than to summarily attack the very place your ancestors come from. because white people will never do that to their own ancestors from europe.
