Ted Bundy was good looking. So was Jeffrey Dahlmer. It’s more about them feeling in control and exerting force on someone. Causing pain makes them happy. Rape is really mostly about anger and hatred rather than sex.
Those guys are the minority. Exceptions don’t disprove the rule. The majority of sex offenders are physically unattractive, and if that threatens the politically correct narrative you clearly find comfort in, tough shit.

You are more correct than you even know. I tried to publish a paper on this, and the only reason the paper was rejected was fears about backlash. Not one reviewer could fault the data nor the research methods. The science was solid and they admitted such. The “power” myth has done far more harm than good, and thanks to the rampant political corruption in the social sciences, it won’t be going away anytime soon.
