Izzy Stradlin is one of my favorite guitarists ever. Love his style of playing. It worked very well with GNR. If he was solo, it’s a different thing. Same style, he’s Keith Richards and a few others too and Solo, that’s the kind of s*** he does. Shuffle It All. He’s Bruce Springsteen and Keith Richards. Combined with GNR, he’s still that guitarist, but being backed with raunchy distortion and 4 other guys who want to kick you right in the bag or box. It works with that band. Then you watch him on YouTube in the 1980’s doing a cover of Star Fucker with Faster Pussycat, and it’s just like holy f***… Listen to the power. It must have been a rush to be Izzy Stradlin in the 1980’s.
