It was more about the video and the Oceans 11. The fact that I said the word chicks, is secondary.
It’s probably the coolest effect pedal I ever bought. It has what it’s intended to do but an insane number of crazy cool effects. There a setting with full on Flanger. Sounds like a net airliner. Good Flanger. It’s Flanger like in Loverboy, This Could be The Night. There’s also a delay like effect. Also, on every, if not most of the 11 types of reverb, If you hit a chord and then hold the foot switch down, it is not a clicky foot switch like on an MXR pedal, it’s just a button. It silently slides down, hit a chord, hold it down, it will infinitely play that chord, and you can play over top of it until you take your foot off the switch. It’s amazing cool.
Very cool. Versatile. The other EHX pedal I have is a newer release. The Eddy Vibrato Chorus. Friggin amazing effects pedal too. Not digital like the Oceans 11, it’s old school analogue “Bucket Brigade”, but with 6 nobs and 2 switches. Vibrato AND Chorus, with the option to use both together. ALSO with some built in tricks. I think there’s a hold foot switch function on that one too, but there is a setting you can have it vide at home gh speed, pluck a string and let it ring, the vibe like a spinning speaker will drop down slow while the string is loud and as the string vibe dies out its speeding back up slowly to full hilt. Or vise versa, pluck the string, it speeds up and gets slower as the string dies. Digital is also cool but I love the organic nature of the analogue. That’s also an awesome pedal also with an adapter. Glad I bought that one when it was just released. It was $125 CAD. I was shocked to see it at alot higher now. Analog tends the be less $ but there’s some seriously wicked tones in that box.
I don’t have it, but the Canyon Delay is another seemingly cool newer, ewish EHX pedal. Actually, just for the heck of it, I think I want the EHX Hot Wax Overdrive. That’s 2 EHX OD pedals in one box (EHX Crayon and EHX Hot Tubes) which can be played stacked. Not even that pricey either. $150 or something? Analog,
I love EHX.
