That is called living. All people are in and of themselves, and you can’t know what each person has done or will do. You can try and spin imaginary wheels but you are not in control of anything at all in this world, someone else is. That being will bring that person back again and again like a damn rubber band until you fulfill what it is you need from them. “Oh, I am a master in control”. Good luck with that thinking style man.
