ACTUALLY, you are either black yourself, or you are a woman who is not black but are attracted to black people and culture BECAUSE they are black, which is no different than, not necessarily being racist, but not being into it. The skin colour and what that brings with it, the culture, because you are not into it, and dismissing it. Paying no attention to it. Not bringing it into their life. Staying away. Understand? It’s like a masculine womanizing straight man sitting in a bar with a bunch of feminist lesbians. It just doesn’t work with either side so why mix them? Diversity is one of those things in this day and age it’s crammed down everyone’s throats. I see it everywhere, but I really notice it in commercials. If you sit down and watch commercials it’s seems like 80% or more, no exaggeration, and are black, mixed race, gay, lesbian, and any combination of these MINORITIES. The lesbians are literally in every single commercial. That’s a big one, but my point is, the wrong way to attain this is to irritate people by cramming it down their throats. AT LEAST over this summer it was like 80%+ or commercials, not even an exaggeration. It does come and go, we may be moving back a bit on it, lately it’s been much lower, but this summer it was getting ridiculous. I am a straight mature white man. I know I’m tired of it but I don’t go out and hold white supremacist rally’s, I choose to ignore it and look away from it. I don’t incorporate it into my life. I do what is right FOR ME without really stating it. I don’t express it. I don’t say “you are black! I can’t relate to you, you cant relate to me and in fact you as a person, your culture, all that is goofy, ridiculous, and it irritates the hell out of me!” I just don’t have anything to do with it. I am allowed to believe anything I want based on my experience in life.
The only reason anyone would or could ever change, including myself, is if they truely believe it needs change, they believe it’s beneficial to their lives or to someone they love. They need to want to change. You saying “change” doesn’t mean anything to anyone who doesn’t want to change or they don’t respect you. You gotta earn that snap. You get it?
