There is usually pretty high expectations from both people whem it comes to bringing the past into the present. Re-connecting.

Its one of the reason the past is usually best left in the past. People change in all sorts of ways that could be hard to swallow from the perspective of someone you knew or had relations with 10 or 20 years ago. These are not the same people.

It doesnt mean you’re not attractive or less of a person, the opposite might be true, it just meams what you fell for in each other at ome time might no lmger be there or you wouldnt work well together.
