My neighbors don’t know this about me, but I’m a trained USMC sniper. One of my neighbors is a drunk and was rude to me a few weeks back and I let it slide. My wife revealed to me this morning that he made a s***** comment about her two days ago and she didn’t want to tell me right there and then because at the moment I was upset about the contractor who is redoing our driveway. She was afraid that I would shoot our neighbor.

I’m of course offended by his comment and will have a conversation with him about it, but for my own wife to think I wouldn’t have self control and assert that he is to stay away from my wife is more offensive.

Does my wife really believe I would take a man’s life over his rudeness?

Smack him a few times?

Yes, if he raise his hand to me, but shoot him?
