Maybe I’m being paranoid or a bit naive again but I feel sort of targeted.
A black lifted truck tried following me home. A man waited for me to get into my car and then as soon as I started driving he began following me just a short distance away. I didn’t want to go straight home so I started driving fast and far, (I drove out of the city but ended up going back because I didn’t know where I was and I hadn’t shaken the car at all..), I tried taking detours then ended up calling a guy friend, explained what was happening and he said to meet him at his place and that he’d wait outside. (Looking back, I should have gone to a police station and not risk putting him in any danger) I made it there, saw my friend, and pulled into his driveway where he was standing. My friends home was in a dead end street and the truck that was following had to do a small quick circle to leave the area. But I saw him, he was looking at me almost angry looking, and looking at my friend and then he took off. I left later that night when I felt it was safe. The next day after work I went back to my car and found a note on my windshield. It was from the person that had followed me saying something like ‘Is that your bf? He won’t ever have to know.’ Written very poorly on a small napkin. I tossed it.

I ‘m fairly successful and live alone with my two boy dogs. They are protective of me and have really pulled me out of harms way SO MANY times <3. Behind my home is a green belt meaning, there is no property behind mine, only trees, deer, and a path that people or bikers occasionally take. Because I live alone and I'm kind of secluded, I like to be n*** a lot of the time but I'm feeling less like I can do that anymore.
I have seen creepy cars park in front of my home for long periods of time. The boys bark into the trees behind the home very angerly sometimes. (If you have dogs then you understand how they can change their tone of bark. It's not a simple 'Hey there is a deer over there' bark it's a 'WHAT THE F*** IS THAT' bark.) Randos knock on my front door but I won't answer. Most of the time I do blow it all off as me being paranoid and that it's really no big deal, but sometimes I just can't help but get this gut feeling like someone is watching me through my windows. I like the sunshine and like to let it in, but it's just not the same anymore.

There are so many traffickers in my home city that police are putting out reports of locations that they suspect the cartel works out of and basically saying don't go. But there are stations set up literally ALL over town. I can't go anywhere by myself even though I'm an adult because I'm only like 90 lbs and these guys are at least 6ft tall, (I'm no where near 6ft lmao) kidnapping lone women and children. They know what they're doing so well, they can grab the kids straight from the parents arms and get away. It just s****. I'm a very solitary person yet I can't even go grocery shopping or do anything alone without some level of concern. I know it's a big city, and I know it's not a guarantee that something will happen, but these reported places are places that I go to, and I've already had more than just a couple of close encounters. This is just one count of them. :/
