So, I have this club with this guy that I have a HUGE crush on. We had summer classes together. He was the only person that was in the same school/grade as me. we were both just going into 8th grade so we were 13 while the rest of the class consisted of highschoolers (fyi this was 11th grade math). I learned that he was a huge nerd and kinda developed feelings for him.
In the club we usually have trips to places that are about 1-8 hours away, which in this case was Disneyland. I was in his group and was shipped with him constantly. Some things that happened was when I decided to take a group picture while everyone was eating. The only person that looked at the camera was my crush. I pointed that out and everyone was chanting the ship name. I literally only pointed out that he was the only person that was looking at the camera… Another thing that happened was when two people in the group literally pretended that we had lost him. I said “Wait seriously?!?!” and started to look for him until they stopped me. Turns out that he was just standing behind another group member. More things happened like me recording a video of him bumping his head against the door for a whole minute but that has nothing to do with this story. On the Finding Nemo ride I heard that he was in a relationship with his best friend and that he was gay. I brushed this off because literally every guy at my school says that (I was actually almost crying when I got home).
During science class today, someone said “Someone left their Scioly sweater here!” Since I’m in that club I took the sweater and told the teacher (who is the head coach). The teacher said “Oh, it’s probably *insert crush’s name here*’s. Just leave it on the counter.” FYI, I do not have this class with him so it was literally just a coincidence that I had grabbed my crush’s sweater. When I walked back to my seat my table partner (who knows who I like) kept on bugging me for the rest of the class.
A lot of people know who I like EXCEPT anyone in my family. Though I always talk so highly of my crush even at home lol.
