In 50 years time society will be stratified thus:

TOP: Owners of companies which operate robots, AI, spaceships or other technologies which do not yet even exist.
MIDDLE: Technologists trained in robotics, computing, engineering or science who work at the companies mentioned above. Also, the standard medical doctors and dentists.
BOTTOM: Everybody else, because most of the jobs that currently exist will either not exist or will be much harder to get due to supply vs. demand. If you aren’t trained in a science field of some sort, you can expect poverty.
