SO, i need help right now. Its some stupid high school thing. So if u r in high school, maybe u can help me. Theres this guy thats two years younger than me, he started texting me since last week. He’s pretty cute and popular in school. I started texting him back and talk about random stuff. I started liking him i guess? Im not sure if i actually like him or do i just find him cute or i just like him as my brother. Im super confused right now,, I told my best friend and she told me not to date someone two years younger than me and so i should stop texting him. What do you all think?

  • I am also in high school. I am a girl dating a girl who is a year older than me. I think that if he is a 9th grader then probably not but if he’s not, go for it!

  • One year gap in highschool is hard enough. Think about it, if you guys last- you’ll have graduated and be a sophomore in college by the time he gets his diploma. It probably won’t work out because you’ll be in such different places in life. Don’t let your heart be set up for failure.

  • If you like him and feel a mutual connection, just do it. Who cares what anyone else thinks? Once you are established, people will move on. It may not even last, but you won’t regret that you didn’t give it a go later on.

  • What are you “confused” about? Like, what’s so “confusing” about this situation? Are you retarded? Do you have a head injury?
