I know this is a confession site and all but I need opinions on something since you all can comment. I am in high school and I like this guy and he likes me back as well. We haven’t made it official yet that we are kinda dating. To be honest, we don’t ourselves know for sure where we stand together as. Anyways, this Sunday, I went to a friend’s party and I hoped he got invited too, but to my disappointment, he wasn’t. He keeps on getting into fights with me and does the drama part for both of us(pretty sensitive guy). I so wish he had confessed to me already. So I was talking with my best friend(he’s a guy btw) and he came up with this idea that we should take pics of us together with his arm over my shoulder and upload the pic on Insta. We have loads of pics like this together so it wasn’t a big deal for both of us. We were pretty satisfied that my “to-be-bf” would see the pics and would get jealous. Turns out, as expected, he did see those pics and he is not only jealous but so freaking angry with me. He confronted me after school with it and said, “So you’ve been hugging around guys, I see.” I got irritated and replied, “Well, you for sure aren’t gonna tell me who to hug and whom not to.” He became angry af and has been avoiding me since. His friends are telling me to say sorry to him, but honestly, I haven’t done that grave a mistake. And if he is so bothered, why the f*** doesn’t he confess to me already?
So here are the things I need advice on:

1) Did I do wrong in the first place by trying to make him jealous?
2) Did I say anything wrong to him later on?
3) Should I just go and say sorry to him?
4) 1 year has passed and we don’t seem to be going anywhere, so should I just move on from this guy?
