This is the first time I’ve ever had a crush that lasted this long and it drives me crazy because I absolutely cant do anything about it and I feel like a creep haha. I’ve never met this guy until last year and like a ghost he’s out of my life. He was at my group in English, and out of pure dumb luck we’ve had the same group four times throughout the year, that’s 4 out of 6 times. He’s not only drop dead handsome, but he’s hilarious and soft on the inside, he loves dogs with just the same obsession I do and we share the same taste in music and books. Literally the series I’ve loved for years apparently he really likes too, and this I found out without asking him or even bringing up. He’s not the class clown but he’s not awkwardly quiet, he’s just normal but a little on the reserved side. We coudln’t talk much in class naturally, but we’ve texted and he confessed things to me I would think are pretty deep, he stated himself he didn’t know why he was telling me these things but that they just come out easily to me. He’s low key a criminal haha minor things like shoplifting all the way up to having sold people’s nudes that are sent to him to his friends, that part shocked me but that was years ago. Anyway, now we have no classes together, his schedule is basically the opposite of mine, and while we were kind of close I really have no business texting him out of the blue despite how much I really want to, and i dont even know what i would say at this point. I see him around but it’s usually when he leaves and he walks so fast or he’s with his other friends and that’s hella intimidating. When we were talking, I learned he swore off dating in high school after something real messed up happened between him and his ex, also at that time I had a boyfriend who is now me ex. also before I realized I had a crush on him a friends asked me to help her set her up with him. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time being worried about my bf who was overly jealous, and stopped being so awkward haha. Now it’s senior year and I think if nothing else happens and he doesn’t ask someone to prom( which he might not, he’s the kind of guy to skip it haha ), Ill ask him to prom, at that point the worst that could happen is he could say no.
