My pal from high school visited me recently and spent two nights with me, and got on my nerves for a variety of reasons, mostly because of her judgement of other’s looks. (I’m male, she’s female.) Took her around to meet my friends in the neighborhood. The next day, someone asked “Was that your mother?” I figured he was drunk. But today I went to pick up photos and some of them were of me and C. The lady at Wal-Greens asked “Is that your mother?” when she saw a pic. Sorry my friend looks so old, but not sorry I’ve kept myself in shape all these years. (Cat hiss) The next time she criticizes someone for their appearance, maybe I should remind her that she looks 20 years older than she is.
