Talking about past relationships isn’t necessary. It’s better to forget about the past than to constantly remember them.

  • I don’t see anything wrong with talking about past relationships. Maybe someone can help you find a new perspective on them and im a big fan of learning from them so you can always bring something new to the table in a new relationship. Some princesses have to kiss a few frogs before they find their prince.

    • Yeah, I’m having a hard time looking at my past relationships and mistakes in a new perspective and not looking at em negatively. 🙁

      • That’s the way i used to be. Every relationship almost destroyed me ( in fact i swore off of them for thirteen long years) until i realized each person who comes into your life is there for a reason. Either a lesson you have to learn or to stay and help you ( if you can trust them and they truly have your back thats awesome) some people are givers and some are takers and if we are taking more than we are giving than the ones who are giving get tired and begin to believe youre taking advantage of them. Show some appreciation for them. If you’re a giver, then realize the takers are not aware that they are taking so much from you and not giving anything back.that’s where communication comes in. Ive never been a communicator. Always been a doer. If i saw something that had to be done i did it. For years. Barely got any appreciation for my efforts. Now i dont do so much anymore ive moved three states away from everyone that i knew and these people here no matter what i say don’t believe thst i survived cause im “lazy” according to them. But they dont know how i lived before. What im trying to say and failing at it is that there’s a silver lining behind every dark cloud. You can glean something positive from every situation, relationship youre in. It just takes some digging. If you don’t get into the water and break open those oysters youre never going to find the pearl.
