my dad hit my mom once. when i was 4 or 5. she bumped into him on accident after an argument so he pushed her on the ground. i remember going to her side and crying hysterically because i didn’t want him to hurt her again. then when i was 15 we got into an argument because i called him out for being a racist. he got up and my mom had to hold him back so maybe he wouldn’t hit me. those were the only times he’s gotten physical or has tried. i don’t know what i do about that. i want to tell my friends in real life but what do i say even? hey my dad hit me once but its all good? i don’t know, but i wanted at least one person to know this happened
