I have a habit of forgetting to do chores. It’s an honest mistake usually, it just slips from my mind.
My mom likes to use said innocent habit to get up in my face. I’m walking home from a 2+ mile walk after a 3-hour shift at work? I’m very clearly disheveled, tired, and ready to collapse? Doesn’t matter. Let’s be a total c*** and act like an ice-cold b**** because she forgot to give her spoiled cat a treat before she left!
She acts like a do this on purpose, when in reality I have about 200 things on my mind. She forgets things I tell her all the time, but I don’t treat her like she’s the spawn of Satan.
Recently, it’s gotten worse. Over the past month, my mental and physical health have taken a downturn. I could sleep 12 hours, and chug energy drinks, but I’ll still feel ready to pass out on a moment’s notice. I’ve also been experiencing a host of other symptoms that have me really worried. I’ve told her of this numerous times, but she doesn’t seem to care at all. I finally got a doctor’s appointment made, and she acted as if me caring about my health was annoying. Hell, I had a bad cough, one that was really wet and had me hacking up bile for a week, and she just rolled her eyes. I really want to hit her in the face with a brick.
Maybe I’d feel an ounce of sympathy for her own situation, some caretaking stuff she’s going through with several family members, if she wasn’t a complete c*** to me and only me. My emotionally abusive father and lazy as f*** brothers get a free pass when they forget to do s***. But apparently, I’m the worst daughter ever. Especially if I ever dare to tell her I feel hurt by her actions. Then I’m just trying to make her feel bad, and like she’s the worst mom ever. I’m at my wits end. If things don’t change soon, I’ll either start self-harming again or punch her in the face.
From the bottom of my heart, f*** you mom. F*** you in your ugly, crooked teeth-having, holier-than-thou, overreacting, face. You are a c***. Pure and simple.
