i broke up with my boyfriend of 2+years for a guy who i had been talking to for a month or so. (him and i are in a band together, so i was always with him, and my boyfriend had just started college so we hardly saw eachother.) i began to catch feelings for the new guy and i dumped my boyfriend. ive now been dating the new guy for almost 3 months and i think back every single day as to why i made such a stupid mistake. my ex treated me like i was the whole f****** world and while my new boyfriend does too, i cant help but break down over the fact that my ex wont be there for christmas and the birthdays and everything. last night my boyfriend said to me about how he wants to grow old together. what am i meant to say besides “me too” even though i wish i was growing old with my ex? its too late to turn back now, but i regret leaving my ex with every piece of me.
