My high school sweetheart got married last weekend. I broke up with her for another girl 17 years ago, it was a little messy, and it has always been my biggest regret in life.
I never got the guts to try to get her back, although I’ve always known she was legit “the one.” I got married 3 years ago and am happy for the most part. But I always think about her and randomly looked at her Facebook the other day and didn’t expect all the wedding photos to hurt this bad.
A dream that never came true.
