I allowed my best friend to stay with me rent-free for 3 months. I drove her to and from work. I bought her clothes for work because she had no money. I paid for her food. She promised she would start paying rent & electricity and now just left to go live with another friend for free. She’s totally cut me off. I never did anything wrong to her in fact I sacrificed a lot of my own resources to be there for her. This is just a message for everyone who reads this: don’t trust people. don’t try to fix people. Unless they decide to fix themselves, you’re wasting your time. I heard she’s going to go live in a crime-ridden area. She’s totally cut her parents off as well, so no one knows where she’s gone. And tbh I don’t care. She left my house in a mess it was disgusting. That’s the last time I will ever go out of my way to help and support someone.
