So i’ve got a hamster about a month ago. I feed it 2 different types of seed mixes and fresh fruits and veges twice a week. The problem is, my family don’t seem to understand that it is nocturnal! They keep looking around the cage and making all sorts of noises, disturbing the poor hamster. I keep telling them to back off, but they won’t! They also give it treats in the afternoon because they woke it up. And guess what? They give it worms! I’ve been trying to tell them that worms and not healthy and when fed too much, hamsters can get obese and an upset stomach. They just don’t seem to understand. For once, I just want to have a hamster all to myself. 🙁
