My boyfriend and I are both 17 and we ha e been in a relationship for about 3 months. We have met each other’s parents and my parents even got me on birth control in order to be able to go out with him. But they still won’t let us go out on dates or hang out at each others houses and it’s causing problems between my bf and I because we can never actually be a couple, even though i did exactly what my parents said in order to date him. What should I do???

this is hard.. try not to get yourself too upset about things itll just make things worse, sounds like for right now at least you don’t have much say over what is happening but if you’re committed to this person time is just a concept you can plan for what your future will look like without these bonds and try to hope for the best
You can move out when you’re 18 and proceed with your own life under your own rules. To keep yourself occupied, start getting ready for that time, now.
