I’m addicted to oxycodone. I first got some from my oncologist during my treatment with her, but eventually I got to the point where I can’t stop taking them. The cravings are overwhelming. I steal them from my elderly father. He gets 130 a month and I swear I take at least 100. I feel like a horrible person. But I’ve done a lot of good for myself, so I shouldn’t feel that way. I beat cancer, lost over 70 lbs, am off blood pressure medicine and diabetes medicine, and am going to resume college in the fall to finish my degree. I have never smoked in my life and don’t ever pln to. I’m only 30, so I guess I got a lot to look forward to in life. A career, house, wife, and family. I just wish I could stop craving oxycodone.

Religious or not, go to a local AA meeting. They will know how to get you help. All of these other issues in your life are going to be insurmountable without getting your addiction under control.
A lot of people have gotten off oxycodone by smoking marijuana.
