I want to lie and say my secret boyfriend raped me because I’m 16 and he got me pregnant. Since my parents don’t know about him, and he’s 19, I could get away with lying about him. It would make it easier- I would not get into trouble for being pregnant.

So did he rape you? If not, I think you need to tell your parents, will they be mad? Probably but if it was me, I’d rather have my parents angry at me than saying a guy raped me even though he’s innocent, a lie like that can destroy a life
Do not lie. If he raped you then he did if not don’t do it. It might seem easy but it is horribly selfish. You were part of this. You think it might be easier but you are ruining his life. He will always be considered a sex offender for the rest of his life. He will never shake this label, he will have a very hard time finding work, new friends and places to live. You made a mistake so own up to it. You are old enough to face the consequences. Plus whether you lie to your parents or not they will view you differently from that point forward. They will view you as a victim and you can bet dating will be very different than it is now. They will not trust any guys you meet. They might blame your friends as not good and make you get rid of them. Also, if you accuse him, do you think he will not be able to prove that you two were dating. So your parents will know you had a boyfriend anyway.
This plan of yours is foolish. You have to own up to the consequences of your actions. You will end up ruining your own life as well. Just tell your parents the truth.

I’ve changed my mind, I’m not going to lie about this. I will own up to my parents and tell them it was my desicion to have sex. I don’t want to ruin anyone’s life. I’m so scared though.

Big mistake. You WILL ruin his ENTIRE life and possibly yours if even one person finds out you lied. Rape is a short word, but long sentence.
