I abused men, women, children and animals years ago. I groped a child decades ago. I feel ashamed that I did not see the warning signs of my mother having a stroke. I selfishly just wanted to do what I wanted to do. I did ask her if she wanted me to call 911 before I left. She said no. I asked her if she wanted me to take her to the hospital. She said no. I was annoyed and went about what I wanted to do. I should have been more proactive.
