I had an affair with a man at work only to further my career. My husband never found out but his wife did and she is blackmailing me over it. This all happened two years ago and it lasted almost a year before he got fired for stealing from the company.
No one else knew I was involved with him and that I knew he was stealing from the company. I begged him to stop but he had gotten so far in debt he thought that was the only way out. His wife is what caused the debt, a typical trophy wife that turned out to be a cold gold digging s***.
Now she is coming after me demanding I give her money. We are very well off due to my husband getting a big inheritance. I do have access to money and can give her what she wants without my husband finding out but I know if I do give it to her she will come back asking for more.
I have decided to come clean to my husband. I know he will be hurt and I know he may leave me. And on top of that if my company finds out about the affair I might lose my job.
She does have evidence about the affair but she can’t have evidence that I knew about the stealing.
Today is going to be a very hard day.
